Last year, I shared a few ideas for homemade baked goodies for Christmas. Here are a few more homemade gift ideas from around my blog {and elsewhere}, too! I know it can be difficult to navigate blogs sometimes so I thought it might be helpful if I put them all together in one post! Great Gifts for any occasion. Staying frugal with homemade gifts. 1 – I’m passing this out this year – Homemade Laundry Soap. I’ve been making my own laundry soap for a long time now, and am very thrilled with it. It’s super easy and very frugal! It only has 3 ingredients: washing {or baking} soda, borax, and Ivory soap! And a little bit goes a long way. I love the soap dressed up in a mason jar with a fun bow!

2 – Another great, frugal gift in a jar is Citrus Infused Vinegar Cleaner! I made this last year and love it, too! It’s a great way to use up some of those citrus peels I know I have an abundance of this time of year. I not planning to give this out this year, but it is in the back of my mind for another easy, frugal, useful gift to give!

3 – I’m also planning to hand out homemade foaming soap. I saw this idea last year and wanted to make it then, but I didn’t want to buy the dispensers…I’ve been saving my old dispensers since last year and have all of the ingredients to make this fun gift this year. I’m very excited about that!

homemade easy bake oven mixes

4 – Need kid ideas for girls? A couple years ago my daughter made homemade easy bake oven mixes for her cousin! It was a super cute gift and we had a great time making it.

homemade mittens from up-cycled sweaters

5 – Like to felt wool? These woolen mittens were a huge hit with our family last year! My kids keep asking me when I’m gong to make them more. Who makes their kids mittens, anyway? 😉

6 – Martha Stewart has templates for really cute felt animal ornaments! These don’t look too awful hard… 😉

7 – Speaking of  Martha Stewart, I love the idea of these hand cookies! But I think I might try to make them out of salt dough and hang them on my tree… We’ll see how that turns out! There are a lot more really cute ideas here.

8 – Another baked good I forgot to share last week, but plan to make this year as well: homemade granola! My  homemade granola is always a hit. Wrap it up in a plain plastic bag, or put some in a mason jar {with a bow of course}! Instead hit!!

homemade marshmallow shooter from pvc pipe

9 – Need a gift for a boy? How about a Marshmallow Shooter? My friend made these for my kids a few months ago, but we also made some of these for our cousins a couple years ago. They were a huge hit! And they’re super simple to make – just assemble PVC pipe pieces together – or better yet, just hand out the cut pieces and let the recipients build them themselves for hours of entertainment! Since we are remodelers by trade, we have a lot of this stuff on hand, but it’s pretty easy to find and cut at a hardware store, if you need to get it there. There are directions here, if you need them.

10 – Photo Ornaments – more on this one in a few days…but this is super easy and loved by my family members. I found dated ornaments at Michaels a couple weeks ago (for 4.99 each) which I will fill with current photos of my kiddos. Grandparents and Great Grandparents cherish these super easy, super beautiful gifts! I’m going to finish making our photo gifts this year as I haven’t even started yet. I always give photo gifts – calendars, mouse pads, bags… Time is running out to get them finished in time for a Christmas delivery – so if photo gifts are on your to-do list, better get cracking!

And there you have 10 more easy and frugal homemade gift ideas! What are you making??
