Here’s a round up of 10 homemade personal care products using 1 – 5 ingredients, and many of them include water in that list. After reading these posts, I’m rethinking my objections and might just give many of these products a try!

10 Quick & Easy Homemade Personal Care Products Using <5 Ingredients

1. Coconut Oil MoisturizerThe Coconut Mama – I have horribly dry skin in the winter months. The hardest part of making this lotion is pulling out the stand mixer!

2. Natural Deodorant The Wellness Mama – 3 main ingredients plus two optional ingredients. I’m not sure I’m ready to start making my own deodorant yet, but this doesn’t look too hard.

3. Homemade Toothpaste with Peppermint and Coconut OilThe Seaman Mom – – honestly, the thought of brushing my teeth with coconut oil makes me a little gaggy, but it looks so easy and frugal. Also a TON of people swear by this type of homemade toothpaste. Let me know if you’ve ever tried it!

4. DIY Homemade Body Wash – DIY Natural – 5 ingredients, you guys! I’m giving this one a try too.

5. How to Make Liquid Handsoap from a Bar of SoapThe Farmer’s Nest – This is one I’ve got to try. She uses one bar of Mrs Myers soap, and two other ingredients to make and entire gallon of handsoap!

6. Two Ingredient Facial CleanserSimplifyLiveLove – we made this last week and it’s seriously clearing up my daughter’s eczema. I’m so happy! It seriously took no more than 5 minutes to make this stuff and that included clean up. Really!

7. Homemade Shaving Cream for WomenLittle House Living – I admit to be a freak who rarely uses shaving cream. Water seems to work just fine on my ultra-fine leg hair, but this cream looks really nice and I might give it a try.

8. Homemade Bubble BathLittle House Living – I also don’t give my girls bubble baths very often, but they would love this.

9. Homemade Coconut Salt ScrubWonky Wonderful – Summer’s coming and my feet are nasty. This looks fun for a spa day with my kids! I might change out the scent though – coconut’s not really my thing.

10. Two Ingredient Hair DetanglerHip2Save – I’m making this soon for sure. I think I will add a little pure argan oil, though to help my curly haired beauty. So I plan to turn it into 3 ingredients. 😀

What do you think? See anything on here that you’ll try out?
