100 Days to a Better Blog – Blogging Challenge

I’m excited to participate in a Boost Your Blog in 100 Days Challenge. I’ve been blogging for over three years now, and the one point I read over and over is that networking with other bloggers is the key to building your own blog. For whatever reason, until last year, I had not done a great job of networking with other bloggers. I was kind of a loner in the blogger world. Last year it became abundantly clear to me that networking really is the way to go! I hope you will join mdthis journey with me and my dear challenge hostesses! I hope to get to meet you a little bit along the way via facebook, twitter, pinterest, instagram, or your blog.I hope during the next 100 days we can build our blogs together and kick our usage and understanding of Social Media into high gear.

Boost Your Blog in 100 Days - learn about social media and network with other bloggers!

Who doesn’t need a fun way to Boost Your Blog in 2014? Getting to know and working with other bloggers is a great way to accomplish a boost. That’s where Boost Your Blog in 100 Days comes into play. This series will be conducted in 10 day challenges and will topic such as Twitter, SEO, Blog Post Topics, Pinterest, and getting more blog traffic.

Why Thaleia choose 100 Days? Well, to be honest I am a very, very busy mom of 4 children 11 years and under. I do not have extra time to spend laboring over by blog and Social Media. I want results and habits that can transform the limited time I have into something incredible. Spreading out 10 challenges over 10 days each just sounds better to me. Spending just 10-15 minutes a day versus an hour or two makes more sense to me. Easing into each new challenge should help create a habit a little easier. This will also give you a better understanding of why a particular challenge should be done daily or weekly and how it has helped you.

Quick clarification- anyone with a blog CAN participate. I did seek out an initial 100 bloggers to help promote this series in exchange I am using their blogs to direct people to during the 10 days of Comments Challenge. Hope I have not confused anyone. You may do one or all 10 challenges at your own pace or join in daily.

  1. Michelle, I enjoyed browsing your blog and seeing the various suggestions and ideas. I look forward to getting to know you getting to know you better over these 100 days. ~Tina
  2. I've signed up for this challenge! I found it through Evelyn's post at My Turn for Us and I'm really looking forward to developing new, good habits that will help me work my blog better. I have been slacking off in that department for quite a while, and I believe this challenge could be just the ticket for me. Thank you so much! Debbie :)
  3. Michelle, does one simply leave one's blog link and it will automatically join you and cue me what to do? I need some help, very ignorant of these bloggy things...
    • Hi Tonya, yes - just click on the blue Add Your Link button and then follow the directions for adding your blog URL. Choose a picture, and you should be good to go! Let me know if you have problems.
  4. This challenge looks like a lot of fun. I read and commented on your Gutter Garden post. That's such an awesome idea! How is it going? I showed my husband your photos. I wish we would have had that at our last house - it would have given us a lot of growing space around our deck. Thanks for the fun blog!
    • Hi Adrienne, we actually moved out to 5 acres so I don't need the gutter salad garden any longer - have all the space I want! I harvest yummy salads from it though! Give it a shot. :-)
