$210 Freecycle Find!!

Are you guys on the Freecycle Bandwagon? If you’re not familiar with Freecycle, in a nutshell, it is a nonprofit organization that organizes people in geographical locations and keeps stuff out of landfills. You sign up for the Freecycle Group in your area and then when you have something to get rid of, you send an email to the group. Similarly, if you’re looking for something you need but don’t want to buy, you post an email. If you’re lucky, you’ll find what you’re looking for, it won’t cost you a dime, and you’ll save stuff from going to the landfill. A huge win-win-win in my book!

I joined the local Freecycle group a few years ago and started getting the emails. I’m not going to lie to you, there are a lot. I ended up with some real doosies

    • The difference is that Freecycle is all free...Craigslist you generally have to buy. Good and bad! :-) You'll have to let me know if join up and get anything cool! I see all kinds of crafty supplies listed on our local group. Might be a great place to get pallets, too! ;-)
  1. I used to Freecycle but I don't anymore, just haven't got back into it. When we lived in Florida we got a free extra frig for our garage, gotta love that :)
  2. That's fantastic. I'll have to check out freecycle more often. I signed up with them, but I don't get emails. Hum... have to check that out. Looks like your family had a great day.
