I have to tell you guys, I really don’t like shopping for clothes. Don’t get me wrong, I love wearing cute clothes, but actually having to go to the store and buy them? No thanks, I’d rather just skip it all. I don’t enjoy browsing through the racks. I don’t like trying to come up with coordinating outfits on my own. I don’t enjoy going into the dressing room. I just don’t enjoy any of it. Especially with my kids – it’s no fun. Am I alone in this dislike of shopping for clothes, or are some of you with me?

Fabkids Review – Have you heard of them??

Recently, a company called fabkids asked me if I’d like to try out their kids clothes line and I was intrigued. No stores. No dressing rooms. No hassle. Online shopping I can handle. So I headed over to their website and looked through their line of cute and fashionable kids clothes. After finding a lot of really cute options, I called over my six year old and asked her to look with me.

fabkids-screening-questions

Sara and I answered the screening questions to get started. She giggled at the first one – are you a boy or a girl (gwurl is how she pronounces girl). Favorite color? Pink, of course. What would you wear to school? What would you wear to a party? Her answers were completely inappropriate as far as I was concerned but rather telling given her over-the-top personality. Then I answered the last question – where do I love to buy her clothes. Anywhere online. 😀

FabKids sent me one outfit which included the tribal bell swing dress and navy leggings. I added the side fringe ankle booties in black and purchased them myself. They arrived about a week later and Sara was really excited to try on, and show off, her new outfit.

So what is fabkids anyway?

If you’re looking for the best deals on kids clothes, you might want to check out fabkids. In a nutshell, it’s an online subscription service for kids clothing for kids ages 2-12. You become a VIP (very impressive parent) member to get special prices and exclusive offers, and once a month you’ll get an email with outfit options for your kids. You can do nothing and the outfit will be sent directly to your house, or you have until the 5th of every month to let fabkids know that you would like to skip the order. If you opt to shop, you’ll be charged $29.95 total for the outfit. Easy peasy.

Now I don’t normally like these subscription services, but this one is pretty hassle free. You get email reminders. You don’t have to buy their offer if you don’t want it, and you can cancel any time. Plus the clothes we got were honestly really cute.
