I was searching for the right picture to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and this one cracked me up! I always did like Bewitched re-runs as a teenager! 🙂
This picture describes my kids this week. Our homeschooling efforts have focused on turkeys, pilgrims, Native Americans, and the Mayflower for the better part of November. But I had fun – and actually learned new things about early American history! 🙂 The kids apparently had too much of it, though. They acted kind of like Samantha in this picture!
Here’s what I’m thankful for this year!
I’m thankful for my wonderfully talented and hardworking hubby. He puts up with me by choice and that says a lot.
I’m thankful for my four beautiful, healthy children. Even when they are fighting each other and me. Even when changing poopy diapers in a spica cast. They put up with me because they have to and that says a lot, too!
I’m thankful for my parents and sister – kind, generous souls who always lend a helping hand when they are most needed! And my in-laws who are just as generous with their time and talents.
I am thankful for my warm, cozy house. Even its state of “mostly” done.
I am thankful for my van and all of its 120,000 miles and every single ratttle.
I’m thankful for homebirth midwives who sometimes risk so much to help mamas deliver safe babies at home.
I’m thankful for talented surgeons who are doing their best to fix my daughter and her cousin’s hips.
I’m thankful for my creative 7 year old, who in an attempt at getting out of a thankful homeschooling art project, simply listed being thankful for “Everything.” 🙂
I’m thankful for the internet, Facebook, good friends, smart friends, kind friends, generous friends, and friends I don’t even know face-to-face.
And I’m thankful for you for reading my blog. 🙂
H A P P Y T H A N K S G I V I N G to you and your family! Have a wonderful day!!
