We eat syrup on a lot of breakfast items at my house – waffles, buttermilk pancakes, German Pancakes. I used to buy regular ole syrup.

  1. I'm going to have to try this one!!! I recently banned all "fake" syrups in our house and made homemade blueberry syrup to use with our pancakes and waffles. It was really simple to make and easy to can!!! But I still can't wait for next spring to get some real maple syrup. It's so much cheaper to buy it right from the producer and we are surrounded by them here!!! I even have a friend who's hubby is making their own in the backyard!!!
  2. This looks great! I'm going to have to try it. I think my husband would love it - he's obsessed with all those "fake" syrups I can't stand. Thanks for the inspiration :)
  3. Oh my goodness! Your family photos, your words and your recipes have me dreaming of a life I haven't dared to dream of.... aloud, anyway. This is such a cozy little blog and it looks like your life is AMAZING. Thank you for sharing! Currie
