Let Shutterfly Make My Book service help you design a beautiful one of a kind photo book – the perfect way to commemorate any special occasion or vacation. I’m so happy to finally check off Baby Book #4 – only 4 years too late. 😉
I finally finished photo books for each of my children with the help of Shutterfly’s Make My Book service. Sometime before each of my children turned three years old, I made a photo book for each one. Since I never made any other type of baby book, my idea was that this photo book would become a special book for each child to keep throughout her or his life. Except the fourth child. The poor fourth child is 6 1/2 and finally got her book JUST this year. Many thanks to Shutterfly’s Make My Book service, or I probably never would have finished that last book.
Shutterfly Make My Book
If you’ve never heard of Shutterfly’s Make My Book service, is a really fast and easy way to make a beautiful photo book – the perfect way to commemorate any special occasion. I’m so glad to finally have a book for each of my children.
Using the Shutterfly Make My Book Service
To make your own beautiful photo book, all you have to do is upload pictures to Shutterfly, choose the Make My Book service and then decide on type of book and a layout.
The hardest part of making these books is sifting through pictures and deciding which to include. I take so many pictures that it’s hard to narrow down which ones to use! After I found the perfect pictures for a baby/toddler book {I wanted to include photos of me pregnant with her, of her birth, and then my favorites from her first few years of life}, I uploaded them to Shutterfly and let their designers get to work on a beautiful, one of a kind book just for my daughter!
It was so sweet watching Sara open her book and look at all the beautiful pictures. Honestly, she asked me before Christmas why each of her siblings had their book and she did not. Why did it take me four years to make this for her?! Please tell me, moms of many children, that I am not alone here? The first child gets it all right? And the last child is lucky to get anything!
Sara was so proud to show her book to her big sister, Cora. She loved the pictures from her birth and my pregnancy most of all. But the picture on the back cover of the book that includes her Great Grandpa was also very special to her. Sadly, he died almost two years ago and pictures of him are really the only way to keep her memory of him alive. <3
Thank you Shutterfly, for helping me check off a HUGE item on my to-do list. Sara’s book makes her so happy! If you’d like to check out Shutterfly’s Make My Book Service, head on over! It’s totally worth the one-time design fee of $9.99 (if you actually order your book). If you choose not to order, pay nothing. But I can’t honestly see that happening.
Do you commemorate special occasions with photo books? I’d love for you to give Make My Book a try!
I’m with you. I will need to check it out!
I hasn’t heard of this service! I’ve started and not finished several photo books, so this sounds → up my alley. While reading through your post, I assumed it would be way more expensive than 9.99!
Well, the designer input is $9.99. You still have to pay for the photo book! But Shutterfly always has amazing coupons so make sure to keep your eyes open for them!!
