Education is a topic that’s near and dear to my heart as I’ve got four kids ranging in age from 10  to 4 years old and also teach college classes myself. In the six years my kids have been receiving formal education, we’ve used a variety of schooling methods: homeschooling and public schooled. Last year, two of them were public schooled, but this year they all came home.

I’m not a die hard advocate of any one type of education – homeschool, private school, public school – they all have pluses and minuses. We do whatever works best for our family at any particular time – so it’s not that big of a deal to switch between the different educational opportunities available to me and my family. While it causes family conflict sometimes {not everyone is on board with homeschooling}, I can’t express to you how thankful I am to have educational options!
