Family Foto Friday ~ June 1st

I’ve been creating picture posts on Wednesdays {Wordless Wednesday} and a couple of times I followed Soule Mama’s lead and added my {in this moment} shots. But the true purpose of those posts is to simply post a picture without saying anything and I’ve found I can’t shut up. 🙂 So, I’m starting my own Family Foto Friday – where I share pictures of events from my life that touched me. Here’s my first post. Enjoy.
wordless wednesdayBen was thrilled when friends of ours gave him real baseball pants and socks that their son had outgrown. He got dressed a full hour before his ball game and told me he thought for sure he’d be the best looking ball player on the field.

But his comment about being good looking wasn’t even the best part of the game. The funniest was Ben’s sliding technique. He slid into every single base EXCEPT home. It was really funny.

And of course, I’m proud to say without a doubt, my kid was the best looking ball payer on the field! 😉

{Thanks, Josh, for the great pants and socks!! They will be put to great use.}

Wordless Wednesday ~ 4/25

My daughter’s 8th birthday party last week culminated in a spa evening. My son does not want to be left out of anything! With 3 sisters, he does some pretty crazy stuff. He is a great kid.

One of these days, this picture is going to be worth a lot of money! 🙂

Wordless Wednesday – More Dirty Kids

It’s my mission now to capture all of my children in a horribly dirty state. Shouldn’t be too hard with my crew…they get dirty when they sit still. I still haven’t figured that out.

These are pictures of my hippy spica baby, my youngest child, who amazes me every day with her determination and drive. She gets what she wants!

She has great command of the word NO! and she’s not afraid to use it. And she has a look that can kill to go along with it. She also loves her siblings and cracks me up when she calls out their names in her sleep: Yaya (Anna), Nem (Ben), and KaRA – said with a seriously rolled R (Cora). I think she might just be half German, although when I ask her in German if she’s German (Bist du Deutsch?), she answers NO! But, if she ever does WANT to say yes, it comes out: Ja. Hmmmm.

And have I told you how much I {adore} Pic Monkey! Free {and best of all, super easy} photo editing. Gotta love that.
