Hi Simplify Live Love readers  – I’m Serena from Serena Bakes Simply From Scratch.  I write the blog with my husband Colt about recipes from scratch, household tips and tricks and family life.
I’m excited to be sharing my weekly meal plan with you this week with idea’s for breakfast and dinner.


The names of the recipes are links directly to the recipes. At the bottom of each post there is a blue recipe tab right before the directions for the recipe. This tab can be used to save ingredient list in Ziplist and to create a shopping list for the ingredients you will need for the week. I love Ziplist because it’s taken the hassle out of trying to figure out what I need for each recipe before I head to the store, it does all the work for you.

                                                                        
Perfect Waffles
Sunday:

Breakfast: Perfect Waffles, Fruit and possibly whip cream. 

We make a double batch of Waffles every Sunday morning and freeze any leftover immediately on a cookie sheet and then store in a ziploc baggie or freezer safe storage container. Then we place the frozen waffles directly into the toaster and toast until warm.
 

 

Chicken Fajitas Stuffed Bell Peppers

Dinner: Chicken Fajita Stuffed Bell Peppers

We haven’t had these in awhile and so it was time to stick them back into rotation.

Mud Hen Bars

Dessert: Mud Hen Bars

If you’ve never tried Mud Hen Bars be-warned they are life altering and highly addictive.
Vanilla Honey Nut Granola
Monday:

Breakfast: Vanilla Honey Nut Raisin Granola, Fruit and Yogurt.

We make the granola ahead of time, usually over the weekend.

 

Tomato Basil Soup

 

Dinner: Tomato Basil Soup with Cheesy Bread

An easy meatless Monday dinner that’s done in 30 minutes.

Dessert: Leftover Mud Hen Bars

 

Spicy Jalapeno Mango Shrimp

Tuesday:

Breakfast: Frozen Perfect Waffles or Eggs and Fruit.

Dinner: Spicy Jalapeño Mango Shrimp over Rice, Vegetable or Salad.

Dessert: Ice Cream or Skip

One Skillet Chicken and Cauliflower

Wednesday: 

Breakfast: Vanilla Honey Granola, Yogurt and Fruit.

Dinner: One Skillet Chicken and Cauliflower and salad.

Dessert: Fresh Fruit or skip.

Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins
Thursday:

Breakfast: Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins, Yogurt and Fruit.

 
One Skillet Cheeseburger Helper

Dinner: One Skillet Cheeseburger Helper and Broccoli or Cauliflower.

Chewy Spiced Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Dessert: Chewy Spiced Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

 

Combination French Bread Pizza

Friday:

Breakfast: Leftover Muffins, Eggs, Toast and Fruit.

Dinner: Combination French Bread Pizza or whatever toppings you like and salad or veggies and dip.

 Dessert: Leftover Oatmeal Cookies.

Breakfast Burritos

Saturday:

Breakfast: Breakfast Burritos and Fresh Fruit.

Dinner: BLT’s with Avocado instead of mayonnaise and French Fries.
