Weekly Menu / Freezer Cooking Plan ~ 7/22

I’m posting a short menu this week because my husband and I are headed to PARIS at the end of the week! We’re visiting great friends from our Air Force days and will be celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary! I am also so excited because I get to see my best friend from my childhood, a German girl I have been friends with since I was 6 years old and haven’t seen since 2003. She’s meeting up with us in Paris for a day and I can’t wait to see her!!

Needless to say, this week will be a mad house of activity around here as I get my gardens in order for my absence, pack, and put up as much food as I can between now and then. Meals will have to be quick and easy!

Here’s my Weekly Menu / Freezer Cooking Plan

Breakfasts ~

  • Eggs & Sausage
  • Chocolate Chip Zucchini Banana Bread {from my freezer cooking marathon last week – more on that later!}
  • Yogurt & Berries & Store Bought Granola┬á

Lunches ~

  • Leftovers
  • PB & J crackers, fruit, and veggies
  • Tuna Noodles

Dinners ~

  • Brats & Roasted Potatoes with Fresh Green Beans
  • Stuffed Squash
  • Clean out the fridge night

My freezer cooking plan from last week was a HUGE success! My freezer is full of great food to enjoy at a later time and I will be blogging in more detail about that at a later date because it was sooo easy! I love having food ready and waiting for me in my freezer.

I also hope to put a few more things from my garden ~ I have green beans to freeze, zucchini to use up, and cabbage to turn into sauerkraut. Hopefully, I’ll get it all done in the next few days. čÖé

What are you eating this week? I’d love hear!

  3. Have fun in Paris, Michelle! How neat to be able to spend time with your friend from childhood. That's wonderful. I love how you are able to grow so much food from your garden, and I'm looking forward to hearing about your freezer cooking. :)
