Healthy Veggie Dip made with Fresh Dill & Sour Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream like Organic Nancy's
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 TBS fresh dill finely chopped (or 1 1/2 tsp dried dill weed)
  • 1 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp salt I tend to like salty food so I use 1 tsp, but you might want to start with 1/2 tsp and add to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • To make this delicious dip, simply mix all ingredients and put the dip in the fridge. The key to getting a great dip is to let the flavors meld by chilling. You'll get the best result by chilling for 2-3 hours, but if you're in a real hurry, 30 minutes might do the trick.
  • Serve with fresh veggies, pretzels, or pita chips.
