It's Easy Being Green Smoothie

Packed with fresh fruits and vegetables, even your pickiest eaters will love this green smoothie. It's great for breakfast or an after school snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup grapes
  • 1 medium orange peeled & halved (I omitted this because I didn't have any. I'm curious to see how much better it tastes with the orange)
  • 1/2 cup fresh pineapple chunks core included
  • 1 banana
  • 1 carrot halved
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 medium apple quartered & seeded
  • 6 cups ice

Instructions

  • 1. Place all ingredients in Vitamix in order listed and secure lid.
  • 2. Select Variable 13. Turn machine on and quickly increase speed to Variable 10, then High**.
  • 4. Blend for 1 minute or until desired consistency is reached.

Notes

**If not using a vitamix, blend using smoothie settings or on high until ingredients are a smooth consistency. When blended correctly, there should be no chunks!
