Ingredients
For the Salad
1
bag prewashed spring mix salad
preferably organic
1
pear
sliced into thin strips
2
green onions
sliced
1/2
cup
raw pecans
For the Dressing
1/2
cup
good quality extra virgin olive oil
1/4
cup
balsamic vinegar
1
small clove crushed garlic
1-1
TBS
honey
preferably local raw honey
1
tsp
salt
1/2
tsp
freshly grated pepper
For the Parmesan Crisps
freshly grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
Dressing
Whisk together all ingredients.
Parmesan Crisps
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Pile 1-2 TBS of grated Parmesan cheese on a silicon baking mat.
Bake for 3-5 minutes until crisp and bubbly.
To Make the Salad
Simply plate the greens, pear, and green onion on individual plates. Add the Parmesan Crisps and top with dressing.
Enjoy!
Notes
Make the crisps earlier in the day, or even the day before, so they're ready to when you need them.
