Caramel Apple Monkey Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 cans cinnamon roll dough 17.5 ounces
  • 1 large apple diced (about 1 1/2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup raw sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F and grease a bundt pan.
  • Melt butter over medium low heat and add sugar to make the caramel sauce.
  • Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon. Stir apples into 1/4 cup of the mixture and reserve the rest.
  • Cut the cinnamon rolls in fourths and then roll in sugar mixture.
  • Place half the sugared apples in the bottom of the bunt pan. Top with half the sugared cinnamon roll quarters.
  • Layer the rest of the apples and the remaining cinnamon rolls.
  • Drizzle melted butter and sugar over the cinnamon roll pieces.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes, then run knife around edges of the pan. Invert pan over heatproof plate and remove pan.
  • Drizzle with icing and enjoy!
