Microwave Dill Pickle Popcorn Recipe
Every year I try to grow cucumbers in my garden so I can can my Grandma’s Secret Dill Pickles. I have loved these pickles since I was a little girl, and my family loves them too so and thought why not combine the dill pickle flavor with popcorn!
I know it sounds crazy, but it’s actually pretty good. And I see dill pickle popcorn is all the rage right now in stores like Trader Joe’s, Aldi, and Costco too.
This Microwave Dill Pickle Popcorn Recipe combines subtle dill pickle flavor in a fun and healthy snack your whole family will enjoy {As long as you’re a dill pickle fan…} And you know I love it because this recipe is also really easy to make. If dill pickle popcorn is not your thing, you might like this Trail Mix Popcorn with Dried Berries, Nuts, & Chocolate. It’s yummy too!
I don’t normally have a microwave in my house, but my parents brought theirs over a while ago because they’re cleaning out their house to sell. It’s pretty funny that their microwave is sitting on a cart in my basement. And my kids just think the microwave is the coolest thing ever.
Lekue MicrowavePopcorn Maker
If you interested in healthy microwave popcorn, you’ll want to check out the Lekue popcorn popper! This microwave popcorn popper is pretty ingenious, actually. It’s made of BPA free silicone and is collapsable for easy storage.
Best of all, it requires nothing except popcorn kernels to get tasty microwave popcorn! I added Butter Flavored Coconut Oil to the popper, because I don’t care for air popped popcorn that much. Popcorn popped in Butter Flavored Coconut Oil is just so much better, in my humble opinion.
