Microwave Dill Pickle Popcorn Recipe

Every year I try to grow cucumbers in my garden so I can can my Grandma’s Secret Dill Pickles. I have loved these pickles since I was a little girl, and my family loves them too. Barlean’s¬†challenged me to find a unique and tasty popcorn recipe and thought why not combine the dill pickle flavor with popcorn! I know it sounds crazy, but it’s actually pretty good.

This Microwave Dill Pickle Popcorn Recipe combines subtle dill pickle flavor in a fun and healthy snack your whole family will enjoy {As long as you’re a dill pickle fan…} ¬†And you know I love it because this recipe is¬†also really easy to make. If dill pickle popcorn is not your thing, you might like this Trail Mix Popcorn with¬†Dried Berries, Nuts, & Chocolate. It’s yummy too!

I don’t normally have a microwave in my house, but my parents brought theirs over a while ago because they’re cleaning out their house to sell. It’s pretty funny that their microwave is sitting on a cart in my basement. And my kids just think the microwave is the coolest thing ever.

Lekue MicrowavePopcorn Maker

This micowave popcorn popper is pretty ingenius, actually. It’s made of BPA free silicone and is collapsable for easy storage. Best of all, it requires nothing except popcorn kernels to get tasty microwave popcorn! I added Butter Flavored Coconut Oil to the popper, because I don’t care for air popped popcorn that much. Popcorn popped in Butter Flavored Coconut Oil is just so much better, in my humble opinion.

Okay – are you ready to try Microwave Dill Pickle Popcorn? Here’s the quick and easy recipe.

I usually add seasoned salt to my popcorn. If I knew how to make the caramel or cheese corn, I would do that.

I’m a savory herbs person rather than sweet so I’d make some herb popcorn, hold the butter! I would love to try this dill pickle popcorn recipe too. I love dill on everything.

One of my favorites is to melt the butter flavored coconut oil with some sriracha sauce and crushed fresh garlic, it is so good.

I would definitely try your dill pickle popcorn recipe. My kids would love it! We would also make some with rosemary and parmesan maybe? Sounds like a good combo to me.

I would love to make with the Lekue Simple Popcorn Maker and the Barlean’s Butter Flavored Coconut Oil, a buttered popcorn, or a flavored popcorn with caramel or maybe coconut topping.
